Cognitive Intelligence is how humans and machines reason and act together: where reasoning sits, what an agent may do, and how a decision is explained and intervened in. It is reasoning in operation, distinct from the latent capability a team holds.
The agent observes, prepares and proposes. A human authorises anything material, with evidence recorded.

Our reference architecture for governed human-machine action is Capability, Context and Consent (C3). In the demonstration an agent prepares and proposes, a human approves before anything material happens, and the evidence is recorded at each step. The architecture we are building toward externalises an agent's reasoning, what it believes, intends and is authorised to do, into governed objects rather than leaving it inside the model, so a decision can be inspected rather than just trusted.
No lens stands alone. Cognitive decides how much of the work an agent may run, and where the human stays.
It relies on Control for the authority a material action needs and the evidence it leaves. It draws on Capability for the judgement a person brings to the gate. It serves Experience, because the agent acts inside a customer journey. And the whole arrangement has to earn Trust. Autonomy the bank owns is how it moves faster without leaving the customer behind.
